Day 1: Arrival in Haridwar – Transfer to Barkot
Upon your arrival in Haridwar, embark on your divine journey towards Barkot. Enjoy the scenic mountain drive via Dehradun and Mussoorie, with optional halts at Kempty Falls and other picturesque viewpoints. Soak in the natural beauty and spiritual atmosphere. After a long yet peaceful journey, check-in at the hotel in Barkot. Relax for the evening while acclimatizing to the altitude and preparing mentally for the upcoming sacred journey to Yamunotri. Dinner and overnight stay at Barkot.
Day 2: Barkot – Janki Chatti – Yamunotri – Barkot
After an early breakfast, drive to Janki Chatti, the base for the Yamunotri trek. Begin the 6 km scenic trek, surrounded by majestic peaks and lush forests. On reaching Yamunotri, take a dip in the hot spring of Surya Kund and offer prayers at the Yamunotri Temple. Spend time soaking in the spiritual vibes before returning to Janki Chatti. Drive back to Barkot for a restful evening and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 3: Barkot to Uttarkashi (Drive)
Check out from Barkot and drive through the winding Himalayan roads to Uttarkashi. The route offers stunning views of pine forests and gushing rivers. On arrival, check-in to the hotel. Visit the revered Vishwanath Temple and spend some quiet time by the river. Enjoy an unhurried evening walking through the peaceful hill town. Dinner and overnight stay at Uttarkashi.
Day 4: Uttarkashi – Gangotri – Uttarkashi
After an early breakfast, embark on the holy journey to Gangotri, the origin of River Ganga. En route, pass through scenic places like Harsil and Bhairon Ghati. On reaching Gangotri, take a sacred dip in the Bhagirathi and offer prayers at the Gangotri Temple. Experience a spiritual high in the lap of the Himalayas. After spending time in devotion, return to Uttarkashi for overnight stay.
Day 5: Uttarkashi to Guptkashi
Today, set off on a long drive to Guptkashi, a spiritual town near Kedarnath. Pass through picturesque routes and halt at Rudraprayag to see the sacred confluence of the Alaknanda and Mandakini rivers. Upon arrival, check-in to the hotel and unwind. You may visit the Ardh Narishwar Temple in the evening. Overnight stay at Guptkashi.
Day 6: Guptkashi – Gaurikund – Kedarnath
Start early today and drive to Gaurikund, the base of the Kedarnath trek. Begin the 16 km uphill journey either by foot, pony, or doli. The trek is filled with panoramic mountain views and a deep spiritual ambiance. On arrival, check-in to your stay near the temple. In the evening, visit the holy Kedarnath Temple and attend the evening aarti. Overnight stay in Kedarnath.
Day 7: Kedarnath – Return to Guptkashi
Wake up early and attend the morning aarti in Kedarnath. Absorb the tranquility of the Himalayas before starting your return trek to Gaurikund. From there, drive back to Guptkashi for a well-deserved rest after a physically and spiritually fulfilling day. Enjoy your dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 8: Guptkashi to Badrinath
Leave for Badrinath early in the morning. Enjoy the beautiful drive through Chopta and Joshimath. Upon reaching, take a dip in Tapt Kund and visit the divine Badrinath Temple. Explore the nearby sacred sites like Mana Village, Vyas Gufa, and Bhim Pul. Attend the evening aarti at the temple. Dinner and overnight stay at Badrinath.
Day 9: Badrinath to Rudraprayag
After morning darshan and breakfast, begin the drive towards Rudraprayag. Enjoy serene views en route and witness the Alaknanda and Mandakini confluence once again. On arrival, check-in at the hotel. Visit Rudranath Temple and spend time reflecting on the spiritual journey. Overnight stay in Rudraprayag.
Day 10: Rudraprayag – Devprayag – Rishikesh
Drive towards Rishikesh via Devprayag, where the Bhagirathi and Alaknanda merge to form the Ganga. Upon reaching Rishikesh, visit iconic sites like Laxman Jhula, Ram Jhula, and attend the peaceful Ganga Aarti at Triveni Ghat. Enjoy the lively spiritual vibe of the town. Dinner and overnight stay in Rishikesh.
Day 11: Rishikesh – Haridwar Local Sightseeing
After breakfast, take a short drive to Haridwar. Visit major temples like Mansa Devi, Chandi Devi, and Daksha Mahadev Temple. Spend the afternoon shopping for souvenirs or exploring the ghats. In the evening, witness the famous Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri. Overnight stay in Haridwar.
Day 12: Departure from Haridwar
Your sacred pilgrimage concludes today. After breakfast, check-out from the hotel and proceed for your onward journey, carrying a heart full of blessings and divine memories from the Chardham Yatra.
