Day 1: Arrival in Haridwar – Transfer to Guptkashi
Your spiritual journey begins with your arrival in Haridwar, a sacred city on the banks of the Ganges. From here, you'll be driven through the picturesque landscapes of Uttarakhand to Guptkashi, a serene town nestled in the Mandakini river valley. The journey takes approximately 8–9 hours, offering stunning views of the hills, rivers, and quaint villages. On arrival, check into your hotel and relax. In the evening, you can visit the ancient Vishwanath Temple and Ardh Narishwar Temple in Guptkashi. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 2: Guptkashi – Kedarnath (Trek and Darshan)
Wake up early and proceed to Gaurikund, the starting point of the trek to Kedarnath Temple. You can trek the 16 km trail or opt for a pony, palanquin, or helicopter service depending on your preference and physical capability. As you ascend, you'll witness mesmerizing mountain views and sacred sites along the way. After reaching Kedarnath, check into your pre-booked guesthouse or camp. Later, visit the Kedarnath Temple, one of the twelve Jyotirlingas and a key destination in the Char Dham Yatra. Attend the evening aarti and soak in the spiritual ambiance of this divine place. Overnight stay in Kedarnath.
Day 3: Kedarnath – Return to Guptkashi
After an early morning darshan and a peaceful moment in the temple surroundings, begin your descent back to Gaurikund. From there, return to Guptkashi by vehicle. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and relax after the long trek. The rest of the evening is free to rest or explore the town at your own pace. Enjoy a warm dinner and overnight stay in Guptkashi.
Day 4: Guptkashi – Return to Haridwar – Departure
On the final day, after breakfast, begin your return journey to Haridwar, marking the end of your Kedarnath Yatra. Along the way, enjoy the scenic beauty of the Garhwal Himalayas and take in the last glimpses of the tranquil countryside. Once in Haridwar, you can choose to visit Har Ki Pauri and take part in the evening Ganga Aarti if time permits, before departing for your onward journey or returning home with divine blessings and unforgettable memories.
